Abandoned the first Edward Hopper engraving, and started afresh. Referenced L. Baskin's The Leper for inspiration. Completed this small gouache painting of Key West. I am looking to get comfortable with this method of sketching for the month in Italy. You can accomplish much more photographic research with a camera, but I would like to get more practiced with outdoor painting.
