These are the drawings for the blocks of Charles Ponzi, and another of Ambrose Burnside. I was told when I worked there that Burnside started the NRA in 1868 because he felt the marksmanship of the Union soldiers had been lacking. Seems this was not really true, but two Union Generals did start NRA in 1871 for the marksmanship reason. His incompetence as General of the Army of the Potomac lead to a disaster at Fredericksburg.
