Harry F. Byrd. I experimented with many more textures, and with a new ink workup which now seems to hold the even the thinnest of lines. He looks a little like FDR in this print, and I began wondering if I shouldn't put them in costumes or with props. I have another similar drawing on end grain maple—my first actual wood engraving. That's pretty exciting.
